Naked Eyes....the Other Trend!

In the Fall/Winter 2009/2010 Collections, models wearing striking, "80s revisited", highly defined and rich-in-colour makeup, topped off with laquered pompadours, shared the runways with delicate, pale-faced waifs. Make up artists promoting the latter look strove for a monochromatic, "just-got-out-of-bed" effect. Beige lipsticks dominated, as did "erased" eyebrows. Some refer to this as the "Tilda Swinton effect" and with good reason. If this is your preference, then banish your blush till spring and reach for pastel, powdery eye and lip shadows....the overall effect should be virtually ethereal...
