I dream of sand in my toes.....

Right now, it feels like summer will never come so for now, I just dream of sand in my toes....
~colourful beach umbrellas...
~the smell of coconut and the the cracking of peanut shells...

I remember trips to the beach as a child, including to summer resorts where my grandparents walked me around, holding my hand, like a little puppet, and where my grandma put braids in my hair, and with big bows too!! (yuk, double yuk!)

I loved to spend time with my "summer friends" - friendships which were short but very intense...we had no time to waste!
