  5. First, Happy Thanksgiving to everyone in Canada! What a lovely pair of earrings. Whenever I'm stressed and need a pick-me-up, I play with my dogs. They love me unconditionally and always manage to put a smile on my face. :)

  6. When I am stressed, I need to do something creative like drawing (always calming) or if I am reallllly stressed, I clean the house and throw away unwated items. Decluterring is a great anti-stressor and clears the mind:) Love your jewelry!! xoxox

  7. i'm working under extreme pressure at the moment trying to complete a masters thesis and writing is NOT my forte!! I am soooooo stressed trying to pull together research and ideas and sound like i know what i'm talking about!!! sheesshhhhh, it's enough to pull yer hair out....ooopppssss, i cut it all off!!!

so ever once in a while when things start to feel likely to overwhelm me i arise from my imposed prison of a room, take a walkabout the rest of my very small home and find a place where i can just jiggle, jump, and move about. Instant stress relief and clears your head for more intellectual gymnastics. The moving body is a miracle cure!!

  8. A yoga or weightlifting class always clears my head, as does a creative project (even just ten minutes of jewelry-making). Or I phone a friend, pet my puppy dogs, or take a hot bath.

  10. I play my favorite music - Cowboy Mouth - and yell the "Let it go, Let it go, Let it go" chorus as loud as I can.

I've enjoyed looking through your jewelry on Etsy - you photograph it beautifully and have such an eye for color and shape combinatons :)

  11. Love the earrings!
To feel better and unwind I like to go for a walk with my dog Ruby. Also reading a book takes me away from 'real life' and feels like I'm doing something for me.

I too make jewelry. I'm looking into an Etsy site but not sure I'm ready yet.

  12. I think I use cinematherapy to cope with stress, because movies are such an escapist art. I will make a nice cup of tea and watch Pride & Prejudice to cope with the day's stress.

  13. Life has thrown many curves and stressballs my way as of late. A sure fix for me is a drive to Kitchener. The happy look that comes on my grandsons face when I walk in the room and the big hug and sloppy kiss that follows makes everything thats stressing me seem so unimportant. I must have done something right to deserve this love. An instant pick me up :)

  14. I stop and look at my 4 yr old daughter, who has cancer, Leukemia, and when she keeps smiling and playing & laughing while going through chemo treatment, makes all my problems seem so trival, her smile & her hugs , instant stress relief.

  15. Ooooohh...love these, just like all of your jewelry...but especially love hearing everyone's destressing techniques. When I get stressed, the first thing I do is make a list. Sometimes it's a "to-do" list...breaking up the day into little moments that I can scratch off and feel victorious, is the way to go...other times I make a list of the top 10 things I have to be grateful for, and usually that snaps me out of it.
