Oh, and did I mention purple rocks?

If you follow this blog, you know purple makes blood rush extra-happily through my veins!
Trust me when I say that if I could have purple, as opposed to rosy, cheeks, I would!
Purple comes in many shades - this makes it versatile and multi-faceted...
The combination of purple and black (one of my favourites) is modern and urban...

Purple can also be very romantic, feminine, gentle and dreamy....

I always smile when I see brave souls incorporating purple into their outdoors - homes, gardens and even cars! C'mon, give it a try!!!!!
I wish you ALL a memorable weekend! ox

  1. It is so hard to be grumpy around purple isn't it A.J.? No wonder it's the color of royalty. You chose such happy photos, I'm going to apply that mood to the rest of the weekend with much effort! Nothing but chores to do, but such is life. Thank you so much for your very kind comment about my Palm Springs post. I do believe you are the only person that actually read it. It got awfully long so don't blame anyone there. So many younger adults think of Palm Springs as only as it were today. There is so much history and it wouldn't be what it is if it were not for those amazing architects and people who had such a vision. Anywho, wishing you a restful, fun weekend. Cheers my dear x

  2. The purple in the first picture is supposed to be my signature color.

  3. I love it, AJ and the images that you have shown are wonderful.
I read somewhere that it's not a good colour to decorate as it makes people feel suicidal !!!!!! I'm sure it's a load of old rubbish.
The lavender and the seed head are beautiful.
    Enjoy the weekend. XXXX

  4. Preaching to the converted here on purple AJ !
As a teen I informed my mother that I wanted all of my bedroom purple - she immediately replied that it is the colour of funeral parlours, so how could I possibly sleep well in it ?
We compromised with the inclusion of some pink.
(Still resisting turning my blog purple)
    :)
Wishing you a great weekend. xxx
