I have never been to Hawaii but I am dying to go....

..the idea of wearing anything other than a downfilled parka, a big hat and clonky boots seems to remote right now that I am sure if I won such a trip, I would pack for it all wrong.....

FEATURED ETSY ARTIST:

Speaking of Hawaii, today's featured artist lives in that paradise of a place, but because she is such a super person and a talented artist, I will not hate her for it. Her Etsy store is called Aquashella and we have exchanged a number bonding convos from which I can tell you, hand over heart, that she is a "good egg", "one of us", as the Brits say. She makes wonderful, sparkly jewerly and I bought a super paid of earrings from her. I imagine the beads are the colour of the ocean, where she lives.....and I have been wearing them since I got them, mostly to remind myself that all this white stuff on the ground will go away....one day.....6 months from now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The earrings are pictured thus.....(with her permission)....

Jane graduated from the school of Commercial Art and Design and was born in Minneapolis. She tells me that she comes from an extremely creative family so now we know where her wonderful sense of colour and proportion comes from. Please visit Jane at her shop and give her a chance to send you one of her creations, you will not be disappointed. Mine came so nicely wrapped that I did not want to open the box. It was adorned with a very interesting shell which I will, of course, turn into a necklace (FOR MYSELF, so quit hoping!). You will find a link to her Etsy shop below, in my favourite links.....

cheers....

  1. I feel so horrible complaining about our 42 degree weather when you've got feet of snow up there! I hope it melts real soon!

P.S. love Jane's shop, thanks for sharing
